Artistic duo Floto+Warner photograph water-based liquids mid-air at a shutter speed of 1/3,200th of a second.
It was recently mentioned to me that this site has become more NSFW as time has gone on, so I went back and did a *very rigorous* statistical review on how things have changed over the years, dating back all the way to 2010.
Exposed female nipples (if both breasts are exposed, that counts as 2; male nipples don’t count because of society - not my fault):
2014: 56 (I feel like this is unfair)
Bare buttocks (for clarity, this includes only those photos displaying the full intergluteal cleft):
Other “explicit” body parts (male or female):
Instances of profanity (contextualized, so if “pussy” refers to a cat or an all-female Russian punk band, it doesn’t count):
1. I need to swear a hell of a lot more, it would appear.
2. 2014 has been a banner year for nudity.
There are plenty of other types of photographs I could include here but didn’t - silhouettes, creative cropping, bare backs, sheer clothing/lingerie, paintings, etc. - that I struggled with too much to include. They were too borderline, too difficult to label as being overtly pornographic. This is art, people.
Have my tastes become more focused on the explicit? Or have my inhibitions about posting such types of material been lowered. I would guess it’s the latter.
Also, as counterpoint, I post a lot more than I did in the early days, so that would skew the numbers higher.
